Who we are
The Snow Sports Foundation is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of the students we support and their families. In particular, we want you to know that The Snow Sports Foundation does not sell, rent or trade any data collected with other companies and businesses for any reason. In this Privacy Notice, we’ve provided information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
Types of data we collect
On your application form you provide your name and address, the name of the prospective student (if applying for someone else), age, email address, telephone number and details of any benefits received. We use this information to determine whether or not a grant will be given. Some of the data is shared with the trustees on the funding committee for that purpose. Your personal data will be deleted when the lessons have been completed. The only data we will retain is the name of the student (and name of contact if different) to determine whether or not a student has received funding in the past
Sharing of data
We share anonymised information in our annual report to the charity commission, reports to our funders, and in applications for funding. Pictures and progress reports you provide for our marketing material may be used in our social media and marketing media. We only ever use first names.
Access to your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Amanda Masterman at Amanda@snowsportsfoundation.org.uk
