Application for Financial Support for Snow Sports



Contribution from prospective student/parent/guardian/other source:

The Foundation will give a grant towards snow sports lessons and expect the prospective student/parent/guardian or other source to make a minimum contribution of £10 per lesson to be paid to the lesson provider on a lesson-by-basis. You are welcome to contribute more to each lesson to make the grant go further.

Universal Credit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance, Housing Benefit, Incapacity Benefit or Pension Credit. (please cross out any that don’t apply)

Please send us photocopies of evidence of one of the benefits or tax credits listed above and DLA/PIP. If the prospective student is not in receipt of DLA/PIP please send a copy of a letter from a doctor, hospital or other medical professional confirming the additional need. This should be a photocopy of your most recent award letter dated within the last 12 months.
If you are confirming with a Bank Statement, it must be less than three months old.

The Snow Sports Foundation will advise you of the outcome of your application. Please allow at least four weeks for your application to be processed. Where exceptional circumstances apply it may take longer.

Please do not book any lessons before you have been advised that your application has been successful.

If your application for support is successful, The Snow Sports Foundation will advise you on how to book the lessons and make your contribution.
